Come to me. . . .wait and rest in me, walk with me, work with me, watch how I do it,
Learn the unforced rhythms of grace.
Keep company with me - you’ll recover your life AND you’ll learn
                                                                           to live freely and lightly.
Matthew 11:28-30 (MSG)

Come to me. . . God has invited and continues to invite us into a loving relationship with Him. The invitation was originally extended to us in the creation story and includes everyone.

Wait and rest in me. . . God has designed us to rest, to pause and to wait. The Sabbath, a day of rest and remembrance, reminds us that we are “human beings” not “human doers.” Our worth is more than what we do.
Discover and embrace the gift of time.

Walk with me. . . God has given us the universal rhythms and seasons of life. “For everything there is a season, a right time for every intention under heaven…” Ecclesiastes 3:1 (CJB)
Discover and embrace the rhythms of grace in your journey.

Work with me. . . God has invited us to participate and join with Him in His kingdom work. Learning and practicing spiritual disciplines requires time, energy and commitment.
Discover and embrace your unique gifts needed to build the Kingdom of God.

Watch how I do it. . . God has created us to live in community. We were never intended to live in isolation or do it alone. Other’s experiences and stories invite further growth and transformation within ourselves.
Discover and embrace the diverse, life-sustaining fellowship of the saints.

theINVESTMENT

Registeration is required at http://souldig.org/wordpress/events/  Payments can be made to Dr. Lori Tate, Soul Dig.

theFLOW
Retreats stand alone although they build upon one another. At each retreat a spiritual discipline will be introduced and practiced. Presenters will embrace various styles of teaching using hands-on experiences, solo time and group interaction.

thePAYOFF
People who have made this journey often experience God’s love on a deep, personal level. They grow in self-awareness, acceptance and love. The commandment to “love your neighbor as yourself” can actually be realized when they begin to love themselves as God loves them. In this process of transformation their desires often shift and align more closely with God’s desires. Love, joy, peace, self-control, patience, grace, compassion and mercy are experienced and then shared generously with others. Within a community of like-minded individuals, spiritual disciplines will be introduced, taught and experienced. As individuals grow within the community they will establish their own personal rhythm.

theREGISTRATION PROCESS
Registration and payment can be made three months prior to the event.

spiritual agility
In today’s digital world the “Agile Manifesto” guides the rapid development of software for the ever changing “needs” of the customer. The agile approach works in a way that accommodates the twists and turns of life. What if we could use these same tested principles to help guide our personal spiritual transformation? In this interactive workshop I’ll introduce you to what I’m calling the “Spiritually Agile Manifesto,” and we will explore what adhering to it might look like in our everyday lives. We’ll collaborate together to uncover practical ways to live it out, and you’ll leave with a working knowledge of how to live the spiritually agile life.

sabbath
After six days of work, God did something He didn’t need to do: He rested. In doing so he set an example for us, and gave us an incredible gift: The gift of rest. It is a gift from God that we often struggle to receive and embrace. Even in giving us the Ten Commandments it is the only command that starts with the word “remember.” God knew we would have trouble remembering to stop. In this session we will explore the gift of Sabbath, the benefits of Sabbath, and real ideas from experience on making Sabbath an integral part of your life rhythm even in the midst of hectic life schedules.
